MY PROCESS

Working together means a creative back-and-forth where your vision leads the way and I help bring it to life - with colour, care and a few fun ideas along the way.

Here's how the process usually goes:

1. DISCOVERY

Once you get in touch, we’ll set up a discovery chat to dig into what you’re looking for - in a project and a designer. We’ll talk creative goals, audience, timeline, and budget, and see if I’m the right fit to help bring your vision to life.

2. ONBOARDING

I’ll send over a project proposal with all the key details we discussed - deliverables, timeline, and scope of work. Once we’re aligned, you’ll receive a contract and a deposit invoice to get things rolling.

3. RESEARCH

Once you’ve signed off on the moodboard(s), I’ll get started on research and initial sketching. This phase sets the creative direction - we’ll discuss the look, feel, and big-picture ideas, including typography, colour palette, tone of voice, and overall style. It’s all about laying the groundwork before we dive into the design itself.

4. CONCEPTUALISATION

Depending on the project outline or agreed package, I’ll develop one or more creative concepts that bring our direction to life. This stage includes a bit of back and forth - refining ideas and making sure we’re on the right track before moving forward.

5. REFINEMENT

Once a concept is chosen, we’ll refine it - tweaking layout, colour, type, and all the finer details to make sure everything feels just right. We’ll also apply the design across any additional materials or assets (based on what we agreed in your package), so you can start to see how it works in context.

6. OFF-BOARDING

Once everything’s signed off, I’ll send over the final invoice and walk you through all the files - where to find them, how they’re organised, and when to use what. It’s your chance to ask any final questions so you feel fully ready to launch with confidence.

7. CHECK-IN

After we’ve wrapped up the project, I’ll follow up with you soon to make sure everything’s running smoothly. We’ll check how things are going with implementation, answer any lingering questions, and talk about any future design support you might need.
